Eurofins Genomics Expands to a Seven-Day Work Week for Custom Oligonucleotide Synthesis Customers
With a goal towards becoming the preferred genomics services provider, Eurofins Genomics US is now implementing a seven-day work-week across several business operations related to the synthesis of custom oligonucleotides.
Over the last couple of years, Eurofins Genomics has taken several significant strides towards enabling researchers in North America to pursue research in genomics at a faster pace and lower cost. These steps include shifting US-based operations from Huntsville, Alabama to the newly constructed state-of-the-art facility in Louisville, Kentucky, the logistics hub of UPS, establishing a new DNA sequencing lab in Toronto, Canada, developing a new high-throughput, array-based, low-scale oligonucleotide synthesizer to bridge the gap between the lower quantities of oligos required by researchers and the high quantity sold by suppliers due to limitations in traditional synthesizers, and expanding the ‘Express Oligo’ service to regular oligonucleotides at no additional cost.
With this expansion of the work week, Eurofins Genomics US is taking another step towards becoming the most reliable provider of genomics goods and services to hardworking and diligent researchers across North America. The impact of this new extended work-week will be significantly evident on high-volume orders of oligos in plates and other custom synthesis projects.
