This product enables in-depth characterisation and classification of the bacterial, archaeal and fungal communities of any complexity in all types of samples, such as environmental samples, food samples, and samples of human origin. This service is based on next-generation sequencing (NGS) of multiple hypervariable regions of the 16S ribosomal RNA (rRNA) gene and the fungal internal transcribed spacer (ITS) region. It even characterises rare taxa at low densities down to genus level.

This product is based on the PacBio platform and generates ultra-long reads of remarkable quality. This service enables sequencing of the full-length 16S rRNA gene at the highest possible taxonomic resolution. The data generated allow analysis of microbial communities, even at low densities, down to species level.

Both products offer DNA isolation, library preparation, sequencing on the leading Illumina or PacBio platform and BioIT analysis.
