About Nanocoins

Nanocoins are prepaid credits that are used for paying for Oxford Nanopore (ONT) sequencing services. Nanocoins can be used with any ONT service or sample type. The number of coins required depends on the service and size of the order.

Nanocoins is the latest extension of a long line of prepaid sequencing options that Eurofins offers, some exclusively, such as SimpleSeq, FlexReads, and Prepaid Plates.

How to use Nanocoins?

The system will automatically identify if there are Nanocoins on your account and show a popup when you submit samples.

  1. Order some Nanocoins! The order control is right on this page. The Nanocoins will be available on your account within a few hours. You can check for them in your sequencing dashboard.
  2. Go through the normal ordering process for Nanopore sequencing. After clicking “add to cart” the system will check if the account has any Nanocoins and present a popup message.
  3. Click Yes to apply the Nanocoins to the order or No to not.
